I’ve been mucking around with producing a Garmin GPS emulator in C# and need some beta testers.
Prerequisites
Before you can use the virtual GPS you need a virtual com port. This allows you to create virtual com port pairs. You attach one end of your com port pair to your mapping program and the other end to the virtual gps. There are a variety of free and comercial offerings, but this is the most reliable free one that I’ve found.
(Don’t forget to reboot your PC after installing it!)
